New Rochelle, NY, November 1, 2000 - The Iona Dance Ensemble will present "Works in Progress," on Thursday, November 9, 2000 at 12 noon in Joyce Auditorium on the Iona College campus, 715 North Avenue, New Rochelle. Admission is free and open to the public.

The Iona Dance Ensemble presentation is sponsored by Iona College's Fine and Performing Arts Department, the Office of Student Development and the Iona College Council on the Arts, as part of the Art at Noon Series of dance and music events. The Iona College Council on the Arts is funded by the Baron Lambert Fund for the Arts, through the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Murphy.

Directed by Catherine Mapp, chair of Iona's Fine and Performing Arts Department, choreographers include Kimberly Alexander, Carlos Gonzalez, Erin Kennedy, Catherine Mapp, Alison Oakes, Alexandra Rosado and Cristina Suarez.

Dancers include Marie Amelio, Genine Angarola, Rhonda Bienfang, Lisa Bueti, Danielle Chiodo, Erin Faline, April Higgins, Michelle Houston, Kathryn Mathews, Vincent Mazza, Cristina Suarez, Devon Wilson, Kimberly Romeo, Alexandra Rosado and Brian Griffin.
