New Rochelle, NY, December 5, 2000 - The lawsuit brought against Iona College by the family of Kevin Lawless, who died almost a year ago in an alcohol-related fraternity hazing, was dismissed in its entirety today.

"We are gratified by the Court's decision to dismiss this lawsuit," said President James A. Liguori, CFC. "We also recognize the family's grief and our sympathies and prayers go to the Lawless family, especially during this holiday season."
