Iona College Schedules Spirituality Workshop July
9 and 10
New Rochelle, NY, June 17, 2002 - Internationally recognized author
Diarmuid O'Murchu, MSC, and the Iona College Spirituality Institute will
present a workshop entitled Reclaiming Spirituality: Living Right Relationships
in a Global Society on Tuesday, July 9, from 7 - 9 pm through Wednesday,
July 10, from 10 am - 7 pm in Spellman Lounge on Iona College's main
campus, 715 North Avenue in New Rochelle. The cost for the workshop is
$40. For those interested in attending just one of the sessions, the
cost for July 9 is $15 and the cost for July 10 is $35 (lunch and dinner
are included).
Father O'Murchu is a priest and social psychologist of the Sacred Heart
Missionary Congregation whose works include Quantum Theology, Reclaiming
Spirituality, Our World in Transition and Religious Life: a Prophetic
Vision. He spends nine months of the year working as a counselor to the
homeless in London, England. Father O'Murcha travels all over the world
conducting lectures and workshops during the rest of the year.
