New Rochelle, NY, March 5, 2002 - Dan Bricklin, author of the first electronic spreadsheet, VisiCalc, will be a featured speaker on Tuesday, March 19, at 11 am in Joyce Auditorium on the College's New Rochelle campus. The title of his address is "Ups and Downs in the Software Industry: Development of VisiCalc - the First Electronic Spreadsheet." This lecture is free and open to the public as part of the continuing Thomas G. Bullen, CFC, Memorial Lecture Series in Science and Technology at Iona.
