Iona College Presents "The War on Terrorism…So
Far"
New Rochelle, NY, February 28, 2002 - Iona's Peace and Justice Program
will host a panel discussion, "The War on Terrorism…So Far," on
Wednesday, March 13, at noon, in Ryan Library Auditorium on Iona's New
Rochelle campus, 715 North Avenue, New Rochelle. This event is free and
the public is invited to attend.
This panel discussion provides a follow-up to Iona's Week of the Peacemaker
in November 2001 that addressed "Is Peace Possible? Seeking Peace
in Uncertain Time." Panelists include George Bournoutian, PhD
and Mary Hagerty, PhD of the College's History and Political Science
Department and Michael Jordan, PhD of its Philosophy Department. Michael
Hovey, coordinator of Peace and Justice Education will moderate.
