Iona College Sponsors Free Ten-Week, Non-Credit
Holocaust Course
New Rochelle, NY, August 26, 2002 - Iona College will sponsor A History
of the Holocaust, a free ten-week, non-credit course. Students will be
guided in a study of classic and cutting-edge research about the Holocaust
with a young eyewitness survivor of the Warsaw Ghetto.
The instructor, William Donat, is former editor and chairman of the
non-profit Holocaust Library and has published over fifty books on the
Nazi persecution of the Jews in Europe.
Dates: September 18, 25; October 9, 16, 30; November 6, 13, 20; December
4, 11
(*Participants are not required to attend every session)
Time: 7-9 pm
Place: Iona College, 715 North Avenue, classroom TBA (call
or ask guard at booth on first night)
