Power O'Malley (1870 - 1946), landscape, figure painter and etcher,
was a native of County Waterford, Ireland who immigrated to the United
States during his early childhood. "Mr. O'Malley has found light and
air in Ireland and has brought them into his pictures…A more winning
transcription of the Irish scene has not come out of any man's studio," said
The New York Herald Tribune in 1931.
