Catholic Biblical Perspectives on Judaism and the Jewish People
The Fifth Annual Driscoll Lecture in Jewish-Catholic Studies March 10
New Rochelle, NY - The Iona College Br. John G. Driscoll Professorship in Jewish-Catholic Studies will present Catholic Biblical Perspectives on Judaism and the Jewish People at 7:30 pm, Wednesday, March 10 in Spellman Lounge. This multimedia presentation will explore Catholic biblical teaching on the Jewish tradition and the need for mutual understanding between Jews and Catholics.
Philip A. Cunningham, PhD, executive director of the Center for Christian-Jewish Learning at Boston College, will be the featured scholar of this event. Dr. Cunningham has been a delegate for the U.S. bishops' and Vatican conferences on Catholic-Jewish Relations and is the author of the recently published Sharing the Scriptures.
