New Rochelle, NY - The Iona College Spirituality Institute (ISI) will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Saturday, April 24 from 10 am - 5 pm in Spellman Lounge on the main campus, located at 715 North Ave. This event is open to the public and the cost is $30; Iona students may enter for free. The celebration will feature spiritual animators, artists, and seekers who have brought their gifts to ISI since 1993. James Finley, author of "The Beginner's Guide to Contemplative Prayer" and "Thomas Merton's Path to the Palace of Nowhere", will discuss "How to live in the real world - grounded in the direct realization of the presence of God," and the day will provide the opportunity for orientation, meditation, and celebration. A concluding Eucharistic liturgy will take place at 4 pm.

The Iona Spirituality Institute is a center for the cultivation of the spiritual life through the sacred arts of study, prayer, creative expression, and service to the community of Earth in a commitment to justice and ecological responsibility. Call (914) 633-2590 for more information.
