Iona to Host Benefit Concert April 30
New Rochelle, NY - Iona College will host a Global Mission Benefit Worship Concert to raise funds for Iona in Mission and Global Celebration Ministries programs at 7 pm Saturday, April 30 in the Gael Club. Through these programs, relief funds and short-term mission volunteers are sent to the tsunami disaster areas and destitute populations in Nicaragua, Bulgaria and Turkey. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 general admission. Call (914) 637-2772 or e-mail jmcdermott@iona.edu for tickets and information. Advanced ticket holders are entitled to compete for door prizes. The concert will feature performances by the Uly Millan and Loser Band, E.J. Vitez and Ban, Sarah Dayton, Ann Poevella and the Iona Gospel Choir. This event is sponsored by the Iona College Center for Campus Ministries.
