Iona's Success Center to Hold 'Success by the Mile' Walk at Huguenot Park April 30

New Rochelle, NY - The Iona College Success Center will host a walk to raise funds for its programs Saturday, April 30 at Huguenot Park in New Rochelle. Registration begins at 8:30 am where participants will deliver their collected donations and receive their free t-shirts. Games and raffles will be held after the walk from 10:30 to 11:30 am and lunch will follow. Raffle tickets will be given for every five dollar donation and prizes include restaurant gift certificates, Yankees tickets and baskets. Call Marcia Manzueta at 633-2328 for more information.

The Success Center is a non-profit after school tutoring and homework help center sponsored by Iona’s Center for Campus Ministries. For more than 10 years, the Center has offered local children and their families the opportunity for free homework help, literacy readiness, cultural enrichment, and workshops.

Founded in 1940 by the Congregation of Christian Brothers, Iona College is a private, coeducational institution of learning in the tradition of American Catholic higher education.
