Iona Cares Campaign to Hold Rally for U.S. Troops April 28

New Rochelle, NY - Iona College will host a “Support Our Troops Rally” Thursday, April 28 at 7 pm. The event, sponsored by the Iona Cares Campaign and the Iona Republicans Student Organization, will provide students the opportunity to honor and recognize the United States troops currently serving in Iraq. Guest speakers will include military personnel and veterans. American flags and yellow ribbon pins will be distributed and “Support Our Troops” magnets will be available for purchase. This event is open to the public.

Founded in 1940 by the Congregation of Christian Brothers, Iona College is a private, coeducational institution of learning in the tradition of American Catholic higher education.
