Iona College Appoints Dr. Vincent Calluzzo Acting Dean of the
Hagan School of Business

Dr. Charles Cante Named Associate Dean

New Rochelle, NY – President Brother James A. Liguori, CFC today announced Vincent Calluzzo, PhD acting dean of the Hagan School of Business at Iona College. “I look forward to a new era of entrepreneurial growth in the Hagan School and a continuing commitment to advancing the mission of the College and serving the needs of our students.

Dr. Calluzzo joined Iona’s faculty in 1980 and currently chairs the department of information and decision technology management (IDTM) and the committee on rank, tenure and awards, and is a member of the executive committee of the faculty senate. He holds a PhD in operations research from Polytechnic Institute of New York.

A faculty member in the IDTM department since 1997, Dr. Cante came to Iona after a long career with Kraft Foods as vice president in several divisions. He obtained his master of business administration degree from the Hagan School of Business in 1972 and his PhD in chemistry from the City University of New York.

The Hagan School of Business at Iona College is accredited by the AACSB - the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business - and is among the top 30 percent of business schools worldwide. The Princeton Review also recently named the Hagan School among its Best 237 Business Schools 2006 edition.
