Blood Drive for Critically Injured NYC Firefighter Matt Long ’89 3 - 7 pm Jan. 12

New Rochelle, NY – Iona College and Sound Shored Medical Center of Westchester will hold a blood drive in the LaPenta Student Union from 3-7 pm on Thursday, January 12 in honor of New York City firefighter and Iona alumnus Matt Long (Iona Class of 1989). Long was critically injured on Dec. 21 when he was struck by a private bus while biking to the FDNY Academy on Randalls Island during the transit strike.
