Iona Senior Participates in Internship with U.S. Treasury
Department
New Rochelle, NY – David Bajorin, a senior and
political science major at Iona, participated in an internship with the
U.S. Treasury Department during the fall 2005 semester. The Washington
Center, an independent nonprofit organization that provides internship
programs and academic seminars for qualified college students, chose Bajorin
from among 407 other students nationally.
“My assignment was frontline research for the Office of the Terrorism
Risk Insurance Program (TRIP) in the U.S. Treasury Department. I could
not have asked for a more encouraging opportunity to jumpstart my career
path in the federal government,” said Bajorin, a native of Scarsdale,
N.Y.
