Edward Tobin ’74 to Release “Top Ten” List

New Rochelle, NY – March 29, 2007 – Iona College alumnus Edward Tobin, class of 1974, will return to his alma mater on Tuesday, April 3 to speak with current students on the topic “The Top Ten Things You Need to Know to Land a Great Job.” As PepsiCo’s East Division vice president of sales, Quaker, Tropicana, Gatorade (QTG), Tobin is responsible for the sale and distribution of over $2.8 billion in QTG sales across all channels of business.

With 34 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, Tobin is an expert on landing great jobs. He has worked in sales and management at companies including Joyce Beverages, Inc., Joseph E. Seagram & Sons and the Pepsi Cola Bottling Company of New York, Inc. He has held numerous roles in sales, sales management, business development, customer development, and sales strategy.

Founded in 1940 by the Congregation of Christian Brothers, Iona College is a private, coeducational institution of learning in the tradition of American Catholic higher education.
