Hagan School Welcomes International Business Scholar for Summer Session
New Rochelle, NY – June 1, 2007 – Iona College’s Hagan School of Business MBA program today announced a special course for summer session 2007: International Business and Central Europe. The course will address globalization and the impact on businesses in Central and Eastern European nations in relation to the United States. The course was designed and will be taught by Pavel Strach, Ph.D., Hagan’s Visiting International Professor. Dr. Strach is the head of the Institute of Management and Marketing at Škoda Auto University, Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic, and has written over 40 published refereed papers on topics of international management and marketing. He has participated in numerous international academic conferences throughout the world, and has collaborated with research teams on other areas of academic interest, including tax efficiency, decision-making and market potential. Dean Vincent Calluzzo, Ph.D., said, “We’re very pleased to have Dr. Strach join us this summer.
