New Rochelle, NY (June 2011)

Crystal Cordovano, a 2009 graduate of Iona College's Hagan School of Business with a Master's Degree in Health Service Administration, won the 2010 Ralph J. Barron, Jr. Scholarship from the New York Chapter of the American College of Health Care Administrators (NYCACHCA). Michael Amo, CNHA, left, Chair of the NYCACHCA's Ralph J. Barron, Jr. Scholarship Committee. Presented Ms. Cordovano with a check for $1,000 grant. A resident of Eastchester, Ms. Cordovano works at Montefiore Medical Center as a respiratory therapist and recently passed her Nursing Home Administrator license examination.  The NYCAHCA created the scholarship in memory of Ralph J. Barron, Jr., a past President who was committed to the continuing education and professional growth of health care administrators.
