New Rochelle, N.Y., April 1 – On Thursday, April 15 at 12:00 pm the Iona College Dance Ensemble will perform Dances of Spirit and Matter in Joyce Auditorium, located at 715 North Avenue. The Art at Noon production features original faculty and student choreography from modern, ballet, Broadway jazz and Irish Step Dance traditions.

Kathleen Keady, a former cast member of the acclaimed production, Lord of the Dance, will be a special guest performer. In addition, Pene McCourty, a member of Catherine Mapp’s CoMotion and Marlyse Yearby’s Mov‘n Spirits will be a featured artist. The entire performance is produced and directed by Catherine Mapp, Chair of the Fine Arts Department and Dance Program Coordinator.
