Iona College Power Restored on Campus

PRESS RELEASE NOVEMBER 7, 3:30 pm UDATE

New Rochelle, NY (3:30 pm November 7, 2012) Power has been fully restored to the Iona College main campus including 30 Eastchester. All evening classes are on; all MBA classes will be in their original location; all services are still on. Day classes resume a regular schedule beginning Thursday at 8:00 am.

PRESS RELEASE NOVEMBER 7, 2012 2:00 pm UPDATE

New Rochelle, NY (2:00 pm November 7, 2012) Due to the power outage, day classes except in Muphy Center (power is on) are cancelled for the remainder of the day.

MBA classes in New Rochelle are being relocated but will run this evening. A decision on other non-MBA evening classes will be made by 3:30 pm.

PRESS RELEASE NOVEMBER 7, 2012 12:30 pm UPDATE

New Rochelle, NY (12:30 pm; November 7, 2012) Iona College is experiencing a power outage on the main campus in New Rochelle due to an off-campus utility fire. There is power in Murphy, Arrigoni, Loftus, Conese and South Halls. All classes will resume a normal schedule for Murphy Center. Classes on the main campus have been suspended until the outage is resolved. Updates will be provided via email and text message by 2:00 pm.
