Iona College Extends Its Prayers to the Newtown Community
New Rochelle, NY (December 18, 2012) The Iona College Community is deeply saddened by the tragic shooting that occurred in Newtown, CT. The victims and loved ones will be remembered in prayer at the masses and services of the Iona community. In a sign of solidarity with the Newtown community, all are encouraged to wear the Sandy Hook Elementary School colors of green and white. There will be a moment of silence at the employee holiday event.
