Iona Alumni Inspire Students at Careers in Sports and Entertainment Dinner Series

New Rochelle, NY (December 20, 2012) The Hagan School of Business held their first Careers in Sports and Entertainment Dinner Series event of the academic year on December 6th. Over 100 students, faculty, administrators, and alumni came out to listen to Iona alums that have excelled in the field of media and sales. The four alumni included:

  • Jim Farrell ’73, Vice President of Sales, ABC Regional Sports and Entertainment Group;
  • Allison Radzin ’96 MA & ’07 MBA, Vice President, Sales Strategy and Presentation Design, Turner Broadcasting

The panel speakers discussed their careers, while offering valuable career preparation and advancement strategies. The next event will be held on February 5th and feature Iona alums in the field of sports properties and marketing.

The series is moderated by Glenn Horine ’84 & ’91 MBA, Executive Director, Center for Sports and Entertainment Studies at Iona.
