The Gerri Ripp Center for Career Development, located on the second floor of Spellman Hall, offers students and alumni a variety of services and information. Accessing Internships Listed on GAELlink:
All paid and credit internships which are received by the Center for Career Development are listed online with GAELlink. As with the full and part-time job listings, there is no cost to the employer. Students are able to search for internships by job function, specific industry or location.

Accessing Full-time and Part-time Jobs Online:
Full-time positions are posted on GAELlink. Part-time positions are posted on the “Hot Jobs” portion of our webpage. (Add link) After a part time position is listed for a month, it will no longer be active but can be retrieved as an archived position for a year.
Requesting Career Development Presentations:
The staff of Career Development offers workshops and presentations to classes and clubs in a variety of areas and targeted to meet students’ career development needs. Some recent presentations have included: Overview of Career Development, Exploring Careers, Resume and Cover Letter Writing, Winning Interviews, and Internship Information. The Center for Career Development also assists in identifying alumni in specific career fields as guest speakers or participants in networking events.

Referring Students to the Center for Career Development:
Career Advisors are available to students by appointment Monday - Friday from 8:30 - 4:30. To make an appointment, students can call (914) 633-2462. Students may stop by at any time during office hours to use our resource library. Open Hours (no appointment necessary) are available throughout the semester and specific days/times are listed on our website. Students may also email careerdevelopment@iona.edu with their questions or concerns.
