Once you have narrowed down your options, it's time to evaluate them!
Ask yourself, how do you best make decisions?
The decision-making process varies with each individual. You may want to look at what strategy you have used that led to successful decisions in your past. Some people prefer to make a list of pros and cons and others may want to discuss their options with others, while some make a more intuitive choice based on what feels right. There is no right or wrong way but instead the way that works best for you.
When should I seek help?
If you are struggling with your decision and are overwhelmed with the process, you should consider getting help. You may want to speak with someone whose opinion you value. It may also be helpful to seek advice from your First Year Advisor or a Career Advisor. Take advantage of the help if you need it.
Now that you have completed Step 3: Making Your Decision, move on to Step 4: Taking Action
