In Memoriam
Br. Timothy Bray

The Alcohol and Other Drug Education Committee deeply mourns the passing of our beloved colleague, Br. Timothy Bray, on November 5, 2010. Br. Tim was an intern at the Iona College Counseling Center and joined their staff as the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Counselor from 1996-2003. He returned in 2008 as the Coordinator of Alcohol and Other Drug Services for Iona College. Br. Tim was a passionate and tireless advocate for the prevention of alcohol and other drug abuse. As a counselor, he was compassionate, patient, caring, and deeply committed to the welfare of his clients. He worked tirelessly on the AODE committee to create outreach and prevention programs for Iona students. As a colleague, Br. Tim was loving, good humored, enthusiastic, and inspiring. He will be profoundly missed for his infinite kindness and as the consummate embodiment of the Mission of the Christian Brothers.
