Retreat for Busy People

Each fall semester the Retreat for Busy People (RBP) takes place on campus and it's for exactly who it sounds like —busy people like you and me!

RBP occurs over the course of five days on campus. What makes RBP unique is that the retreat schedule depends on the retreatant's schedule. Each retreatant commits 30 minutes of personal prayer/reflection and 30 minutes meeting with a spiritual guide each day. It's a great way to learn to reflect/pray within your busy lives.

A spiritual guide is someone who listens to your faith story and someone who guides you through reflection and prayer. They are individuals selected because they share in common a desire to enter into the retreat with you.

What do you need to know about the RBP? You need to know:

  • RBP is completely FREE!
  • RBP is open to all students!
  • All the retreatants and spiritual guides will meet together after the 7:00 pm Sunday Mass prior to the start of the retreat for an opening session and to coordinate schedules.
  • Monday - Thursday you'll meet with your Guide for 30 minutes each day and commit to 30 minutes of prayer on your own. Your meeting times will be based on your schedule!
  • If you're available, we will gather together on Friday at the end of the retreat for a closing prayer and lunch.
