Iona College Office of Mission and Ministry sponsors the Kairos weekend retreat, held at Blair Lodge, the Archdiocese of New York youth retreat center in Putnam County. This student-led retreat, designed for 40 participants, engages students in reflection on and affirmation of their relationships with God, with others, and with themselves. Presentations help to promote personal insight, build a supportive community, and inspire active involvement and service. Students often return with a renewed awareness of their own giftedness and an enthusiasm for the spiritual life. Monthly follow-up meetings, called "Fourth Day" sessions, foster on-going faith development and discovery.
The next Kairos retreat, K5, will take place in Spring 2012.
