Christina graduated from Iona College in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication. While a student at Iona, she was actively involved in the Office of Mission and Ministry, volunteering regularly on Midnight Runs, Project Sunshine, and a member of the Go New Ro team. Immediately after graduation, she began a two-year career in corporate Public Relations in Manhattan. Feeling unfulfilled, she left the corporate setting to explore her calling in the non-profit world. She served as Iona's Transfer Counselor in the Office of Admissions from 2010 - 2013 and currently is working on the fundraising and PR initiatives at St. Raymond High School for Boys in the Advancement Office.
Joining the Office of Mission and Ministry in August 2012, Christina supervises five student Campus Ministers living in South, Loftus, Conese, and East Halls. She works to strengthen relationships with the college's resident students and build awareness of the Mission and Ministry Office. Christina continues to volunteer extensively both locally and internationally. She was the Moderator for Iona's first mission immersion trip to Cochabamba, Bolivia where she worked with nine Iona students to serve the abandoned and orphaned children of the city. Additionally, she will be traveling with the IIM team to serve the children of Mazabuka, Zambia in May.
