Jeanne has worked in the Office of Mission and Ministry since July 2001. She presently holds two positions in the department: a full-time position as Campus Minister for Administration and Special Events, in which she supports the department with administrative functions and special events such as bringing activists against Human Trafficking and Christian bands and Social Justice musicians to campus in support of programs such as Week of the Peacemaker, Make a Difference Week, United Nations Day, and Hospitality Suppers. She is also Resident Minister at Montgomery House where she lives with and supervises five of the department’s 12 Student Ministers. This small Christian community lives simply sharing meals together, praying together, and offering hospitality and spirituality to other groups within the Iona Community. She also oversees the downstairs public use of the house which is open to the larger Iona Christian Community as well as several New Rochelle community organizations such as Habitat for Humanity High School Board and the New Rochelle Council of Community Services.
Jeanne has been involved in ministry for 22 years. Just prior to coming to Iona she worked at a Lutheran church as Office Administrator.
