SUCCESS is the acronym for “Students United in a Community Center for Educational Success.” The center provides elementary school students with a positive atmosphere that encourages a sense of self-worth and achievement. College mentors work on an individual basis with the students to develop a relationship that ensures learning.
The Success Center is an after school homework help program sponsored by Iona’s Office of Mission and Ministry and the generous financial support of the Con Ed Corporation.
Since our founding at HOPE Community Service, we have traditionally served families who otherwise would have difficulty affording private tutoring. For over 10 years, the Success Center has offered New Rochelle youngsters a nurturing environment that fosters academic excellence.
Tutoring takes place in Amend Hall 1st floor. Please note that staff is only available Monday - Wednesday 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm when in session or by appointment only.
