Inter-Residence Council (IRC)

"Bringing Res Life To The Max!"

Mission: To improve the quality of the on-campus living experience.

The Inter-Residence Council is one of the largest organizations at Iona. We work in collaboration with students, faculty, the Office of Residential Life and the Office of Student Development to develop programs and events focused on enhancing the residential experience here at Iona College. In addition, IRC functions as an advocacy group for all residential and non-residential students to voice their concerns and facilitate measureable improvements both in the residence halls and throughout campus.

This year, the IRC executive board has developed a program that has reinstated the essential position of Hall Representative within our organization. Hall Representatives are individuals passionate about creating exciting events, addressing student concerns and most importantly are driven to enhance the daily lives of all who call this school home.
