This service is intended for use only by current residential students of Iona College willing to share their ride with another student or share a ride with another student. Read the agreement carefully as the contents within is intended to release Iona College of liability and waives all claims for loss, fees, demands, debts, injuries, damages and/or death against the college if user participates in the RideShare program, even if it is as a result of negligence.

The college does not perform background checks or verifies insurance or registration information of users of this program. It is the responsibility of the parties involved to collect and conduct their own information and verification. Information submitted to the RideShare program is not verified by the college and actions of users of this program is not the responsibility of the college. User acknowledges that the College does not endorse or recommend any drivers or passengers that use the RideShare program so users should utilize caution and care to get to know the person they are sharing a ride with.

Using this service does not bind you to any contractual agreement with the College and the College is not responsible for damages, financial loss or personal safety of the parties involved. By using this program you are releasing Iona College from all liability that may arise.

Posting:
By using this program, users will agree not to post anything that is false, defamatory, incorrect, vulgar, obscene, sexually oriented, and hateful or anything that is against the law or a violation of Iona College's Student Code of Conduct and Residential Life policies and procedures. The College has the right to remove any inappropriate postings posted by users.

Emails:
Personal information exchanged through this program should only be used to communicate information regarding the RideShare program. Personal information such as e-mails, contact number and address's should not be sent to another party unless authorized by owner. Information obtained through this program should also not be misused to send spam or advertisements.

Privacy Policy:
We will not ask for any personal information from users, your information will not be distributed to members of the community except to law agencies for emergency purposes. The information within this agreement can be changed without notice.

After reading this user agreement, user fully comprehends and understands their responsibility and does not hold Iona College, Residential Life or its employees responsible for claims, liability, loss, damage, debt, cause of action, injury to person or property and/or death as a result of using the RideShare program. If the user does not fully comprehend these stipulations they should not participate in this program and should seek full explanation from the designee responsible for the RideShare program.
