Assistant Director of Residential Life Adam Fertmann : afertmann@iona.edu

Originally from Long Island, NY, Adam spent six years living in Manhattan as a student at New York University. There, he earned a B.S. in Music Education and an M.A. in Student Personnel Administration and developed a passion for working with students in residential life. After his time at NYU, Adam moved to the Boston metro area and worked as a Residence Director at Bentley College. After two years in Massachusetts, Adam decided to come back to New York and has just completed his first year as the Assistant Director of Residential Life here at Iona. While the beauty of the campus and the impressive staff at Iona initially drew him here, it is all the supportive members of the Iona community that make each day at Iona enjoyable. Adam is a die-hard Yankees fan and enjoys watching movies and spending time with friends and family in his spare time.
