About Us

About the Office of Student Development

The Office of Student Development is responsible for Greek Life, Student Activities, student governance, Student Organizations, club sports, the Cultural Mentorship Program, performing arts and media groups. All student organizations and clubs are encouraged to develop their goals, plan events considering their budgetary needs, and to fully discuss these issues with their moderators and members of the Student Development staff.

The Office of Student Development encourages each student to enrich themselves through involvement in campus life, especially through leadership opportunities associated with participation in student run organizations and clubs.

Additionally, students are encouraged to form new organizations, when there is sufficient interest on campus. All student organizations are sanctioned by the Student Government Association (SGA) and must function in accordance with the mission and philosophy of the College and the SGA adhering to all policies and regulations as outlined in the Student Handbook (PDF).
