11:00 am - 2:00 pm, LaPenta Student Union Lot, Music Palooza. Jousting, Air Brush Tattoos, Free Ice Cream, Cash or Meal Card BBQ, and live Music (Noon – 1:00PM) – What more are you looking for from an end of the semester celebration?

Wednesday, May 07
*Last Day of Classes*
11:00 am - 7:00 pm, Arrigoni Center, Commencement Fair. It is CRITICAL that you attend the Fair on either of the two days to obtain your tickets and pick up your cap and gown. This is the only chance you will have to receive all of the items needed for commencement.
Stress Free Zone- All LaPenta Conference Rooms are available for studying when not being used for meetings from Noon on Tuesday through the end of Finals Week! No Reservation Needed.
11:30 am, Prayer Room: Guided Meditation
12 noon - 1:00 am, LaPenta Student Union Lobby: Stress Ball Giveaway
12 noon - 10:00 pm, LaPenta Student Union End Zone: Movies, snacks, video games, & crafts. Come enjoy a time to release a little stress!
12 noon – 3:00 pm, Office of Student Development: Spa Zone, including professional massage, stress free books, aromatherapy, and yoga videos. All Free, Sign-ups for massage begin a half hour prior to starting time in the Office of Student Development.

2:00 ppm, Doorley Room 116, The New Frontier of the 21st Century for Higher Education and Student Affairs: Building an Intercultural Campus from the Ground Up.Graduating Senior Taran Cardone will be presenting her Senior Thesis focusing on enhancing diversity initiatives at Iona College. All members of the Iona Community are welcome and refreshments will be served.

Commencement will be held on Sunday, May 18th, 2008 at 5:45pm in The WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden, New York City.
You should plan to arrive by 5:00pm at the latest time for you to pick up your name card and proceed to your assigned assembly place. *YOU MUST HAVE YOUR IONA STUDENT ID! If not please purchase a new one in security on the 2nd floor of LaPenta Student Union!
