Accounting ClubThe Accounting Club provides interested students with information regarding career development and professional certification. The club also acts as an avenue through which the students can network, participate in various social events, and meet other students with similar career objectives.
During club activity hour, the accounting students get together and participate in social activities and accounting-related topics of discussion. The goal of the Iona College Accounting Club is to provide each student with the proper tools such that they will be a sought-after entity in the professional environment. The Club tries to enhance student interest in the Accounting field, as well as assist students in the transition from academia to the workplace. This past year the Accounting Club participated in the following activities:
The Club meets most Thursdays in Hagan Hall, Room 012. The current schedule includes presentations by senior interns,Career Services and representatives of CPA Exam preparation courses and public accounting firms. If you are interested in suggesting future activities for the club,
