Advertising Club

The aim of the Advertising Club is to help students interested in the advertising field gain valuable hands-on experience beyond the classroom. The club is designed to give students a competitive edge by enhancing their skills with real world experience before entering the work force.

The students in the Advertising Club function as the on campus advertising agency and social media experts for all other clubs on the Iona College campus. The Advertising Club creates advertisements for many special events, such as "Week of the Peacemaker" and "Founders' Week." They also work with other clubs to create campaigns that increase awareness about club-sponsored events and activities at Iona. Club activities include: contests, advertising campaigns, fundraisers, and guest speakers from the fields of advertising and marketing.
