Social Work Club

The Social Work Club is comprised of members from many different majors.

Come help to promote social work as a profession, to help those in need,
to advocate for those who can't, to help out in any way possible, and to
make a difference in the world.

Activities:

  • Had a table at the Activities Fair
  • Participated in a Health Fair on campus
  • Had a table at Homecoming
  • Had a Bake Sale and Bracelet Sale to raise funds for the Out of Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk
  • Walked at the Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk

Upcoming Events

  • Having a social worker from Guatemala come to sell items made by women called A Thread of Hope
  • Participating in World Aids Day events on campus (Events include a Nooner and a Vigil)
