Matt Harrigan is a junior majoring in Secondary Education with a concentration in Social Studies. Matt is in his second year on GAB; last year he was the Recreation Programming chair (formerly Union Programming). In addition to GAB, Matt is a brother of the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, Edmund Rice Society member, and a Resident Assistant on the 7th floor of Loftus Hall. He is originally from the Bronx, and some of his hobbies include playing Xbox, sleeping, and enjoying his life on GAB.
Eva Renski is a junior at Iona. Eva is the secretary for GAB. She is majoring in English and Mass Communications-TV/Video. Eva is from Ledyard, Connecticut. In her spare time, Eva enjoys reading, writing, baking, theater, and spending time with friends and family. Eva is willing to help anyone get more involved on campus.
Ariel May, the GAB Treasurer, is a Sophomore in the Honors Program at Iona College. She was born in Manhattan and lived in Taiwan for seven years before returning to the States when she was eight years old. Ariel works three part time jobs, and she enjoys, cooking, baking, eating, reading, and sculpting. Her major is currently undecided, but she hopes to have her first cat within the next four years. After graduation, she hopes to travel, to learn how to surf, and get a job or go to graduate school.
Michelle Rosenbrock is a senior here at Iona college originally from Hauppauge, NY. She is a dual major in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Michelle is the Publicity Coordinator for the Gaels Activities Board. She is a Resident Assistant in the newly built East Hall, and she also participates in the Edmund Rice Society, as well as Students for Peace, and various activities with Campus Ministries.
Recruitment and Retention Chair
Maria Pelosi is a Junior and Sociology Major with a minor in Psychology from North Massapequa, NY. She is the Recruitment and Retention Chair of the GAB. Maria is also a Gael guide for the Admissions Office, a member of the Edmund Rice Society, and an RA in Iona's brand new East Hall. She loves Iona and everything about it! When she is not busy, Maria enjoys taking tons of pictures and baking. If you are interested in becoming more involved with GAB email Maria.
Live Performance Chair
Stephanie Alvarez is a sophomore, majoring in Speech Pathology. She is originally from the Bronx, and she enjoys an active live on campus. Her hobbies include writing, photography, hanging out with her friends, reading and volunteering.
Recreation Programming Chair
Brittany is from Port Washington, Long Island, NY. She is a junior majoring in biology. After graduation from Iona College, she hopes to attend veterinary school to receive my D.V.M. Aside from being a member of GAB, She is also a member of the Biology club, and the Edmund Rice Society. This upcoming year she will be an Undergraduate Programming Assistant for Union Operations and part of the new Animal Rights Coalition. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with my friends and family, watching movies, and spending time outdoors
Travel and Tours Chair
Michael Foti is a junior from the Bronx, NY. He is a Biology Major and Political Science Minor. He is the Travel and Tours chair of GAB. Mike is an avid sports fan who loves to follow ESPN updates and also loves to both play and watch soccer. He grew up watching Italian soccer with my grandfather. If you would like to see Iona sponsor a specific trip or have any questions about upcoming trips, email Mike.
Activity Hour Chair
Corrine Valenti is a Freshman at Iona College from Dix Hills, New York. She is majoring in Speech Pathology. She loves kids and has been working at a children's party place for the past three years. Some of Corrine's interests are theater, reading, watching movies, singing, and eating. She loves getting involved and hopes to get everyone pumped for this next year at Iona!
Diversity Programming Chair
Symiara Jenkins is currently a senior at Iona College majoring in Mass Communications specializing in Journalism with a minor in Political Science. She currently sits on GAB as the Diversity Programming Chair. She is very involved in student development when it relates to diversity. Previously, she was an Undergraduate Programming Assistant for Diversity, as well as an e-board member of the Edmund Rice Society in 2011-2012 school year. Outside of Iona College, she is the President of the Pi Lambda Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She does numerous community service events in the Westchester Community. She enjoys shopping and hanging out with my friends.
