Gaels Activities Board (GAB)
Gaels Activities Board serves as the central programming organization at Iona College. GAB seeks to provide campus wide programs in the areas of education, culture, recreation, and social keeping in mind the varied interests represented in the demographic make-up of the College.

Christine Skaats
President
Christine Skaatz, a Senior here at Iona, is the current GAB Chair. Though she is about to graduate and move on to a graduate school of her choice to study Speech Pathology, she will never forget her days at Iona! Some of her favorite memories will include participating in Homecoming Events, planning concerts (especially Lupe Fiasco), and spending much of her time in the Office of Student Development. |

Maria Liberatore
Secretary
Maria Liberatore is a Senior, Speech and Language Pathology Major from Hartsdale, NY. She is currently the Secretary of GAB, the President for the Speech and Hearing Club and also serves as the Secretary for the Edmund Rice Society. Maria enjoys listening to music and spending time with her friends. Upon graduation in May of 2009 Maria plans to attend Graduate school and earn her Masters Degree in Speech and Language Pathology.

Ryan Tune
Treasurer
Ryan Tune is a Senior at Iona College, perusing his Marketing Degree with a Minor in International Business. He is currently the Treasurer of the Gaels Activities Board and is also a member of the Iona College Division I Rowing team, SGA (Student Government Association) Class Senator, International Business Club, and the Edmund Rice Society. Ryan enjoys spending time in Buffalo with his family and friends, traveling to England, and watching movies. After Graduation in May 2009 Ryan plans on taking a break and backpacking Europe, unless of course he lands a 6 figure job. |

Kathryn Malara
Recruitment and Retention
Kathryn Malara is a junior Childhood Education/English major hailing from Brooklyn, NY. She is currently the Recruitment and Retention chair of GAB, and she also serves on the Executive Board for the Edmund Rice Society. Kathryn is becoming very active on campus, and tries to devote a few hours a week to the Success Center Tutoring program. She also loves to go on Midnight Runs. In her spare time, Kathryn loves to cook and listen to music. Upon her graduation in 2010, Kathryn plans on working towards her dual Masters Degree in Special Education and Literacy Instruction

Jamila Woolford
Live Performance Chair
Jamila Woolford is currently a junior at Iona College majoring in Public
Relations. She is originally from Brooklyn, New York. She is currently
very active on campus, other then being part of the amazing GAB eboard,
she is also Vice President of PRSSA and a staff writer on the Ionian.
She loves music, movies, and hanging out with her friends.

Adam Burgman
Union Programmer
Adam Burgman is going to be a Senior at Iona College this year is and changing his major to business management, so will not actually be graduating until 2010. He is from Manhattan, the true NYC. Adam has also been a Brother of Delta Upsilon International Fraternity Inc. since the spring of 2006 and is an active member of the St. Jude’s Children’s research Hospital Up Till Dawn fundraising campaign. He also is going to be serving SGA as a Senior Class Senator, and is going to continue in his role as a building manager in Lapenta Student Union, so if you need to find him look there. Adam loves music, especially Rock&Roll, Movies, Sports, and Playing Cards, and just chillin with his friends.

Mark Monzone
Travel and Tours
Mark Monzone is a Junior, Biology major with a Pre-Med focus. He is from the sunny land of Naples, FL, and currently holds the position of 2008-2009 Travel and Tours. Mark also holds E-board positions for the Bio Club and WICR(Radio Station), and is also an RA in Loftus. He loves to go out in the sun and toss a frisbee or baseball. If there is action around, Mark is present. Mark plans to take his outgoing and energetic personality straight on to medical school, but in the mean time he just wants to continue enjoying his time at Iona College.

Eileen Dautruche
Concert Chair
Eileen Dautruche is a Junior majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Marketing. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Eileen loves fashion, listening to music and hanging out with her friends. Other than holding the position on Concert Chair, Eileen is also a member of PRSSA and has served as the Student Government Associations representative for the Edmund Rice Society. Eileen is also a writer for the school yearbook, ICANN.

Amanda Cavuoto is a sophmore who is majoring in Political Science. She is originally from White Plains but now lives in New Rochelle. Amanda is very active within the Iona Campus. Besides being the Publicity Coordinator for the glamorous Gael's Activities Board,she is also a member of Edmund Rice Society and a student worker for the Office of Student Development. She enjoys the beach,music and movies.If you can't find her in Lapenta Student Union,her second home, you can find her hanging out with her lovely roommates and friends.

Nooners and Novelty Chair
Vanessa Velez is a Senior, Mass Communications Major concentrating in Journalism. Vanessa is from the Bronx, NY and is currently the Nooners and Novelty Chair of GAB. She is also a staff writer for the Ionian, as well as a proud member of the Journalism Club, the Edmund Rice Society, and the Iona Players. She enjoys watching movies, acting, writing, and spending time with her friends.
