The Council for Greek Governance's (CGG) mission is to serve as the umbrella organization to the Iona Fraternity and Sorority community. It serves as an advisory capacity to the Office of Student Development, Student Government Association, and the Administration of Iona College. CGG acts as a medium for the exchange of information and experience for the improvement of the Fraternity and Sorority community at Iona. CGG also exists to provide leadership and guidance to the Fraternity and Sorority community by conducting or promoting educational, philanthropic programming, and by recognizing new Greek-letter social and service organizations. This is demonstrated through the commitment to uphold the seven pillars of excellence.

What is St. Jude: St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility. Discoveries made here have completely changed how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
Our Goal: Our goal at Iona College is to raise as much awareness and money for the hospital as possible. We do this through hosting letter sending parties asking our friends and family members for donations, hosting bake sales, having faculty and staff silent auctions, and many other fun and creative ways to raise money. We do it for the kids!
Totals: Since our program began in 2006, we have raised over $53,000 for St. Jude! We hope to continue to raise money to help cure children's cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
