What We Stand For:
Dedication, Contribution and Individuality

The women within our sorority maintain these values through our annual events which include: a Blood Drive, which is held bi-annually, and a Christmas toy drive. Delta Theta Beta founded Greek Weekend in 1985, and was an event that was held annually to unite all Greeks on campus. In Recent years we have held social events on campus, some of which were a Three-Ball tournament which was co-sponsored with Zeta Kappa Chi Fraternity, and Casino Night which was co-sponsored with another Fraternity. We also have our annual Punk'd Charity Concert in which proceeds benefit a philanthropy of our choice depending on what we choose each year. The reason for most of the philanthropies that we do end up choosing is because it has deeply affected one of our sorority sisters and family's lives. We feel it is important that we show our dedication and love for one another in any way possible. There is no better way to do that than support each other in something that matters and could contribute and make a difference in others lives. In the past year one of our sisters worked with a little girl names Grace over the summer. Grace is a little girl who has been diagnosed with a genetic disease called Sanfilippo Syndrome. The doctors say Grace's life span will only be 15-20 years if a cure or treatment is not found. Our sister felt so strongly about supporting this child that we had an event on campus called "Come Meet Grace" and we helped fund for the research to help other children survive this disease. As a sorority we have raised money for the National Federation of the Blind, Breast Cancer Research, Brain Cancer Research, Cardiomyopathy Research, Grace for a Cure and Diabetes Research. We have traditionally taken an active role in Up 'til Dawn which raises money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Each sister possesses unique qualities while sharing the same strong bond of sisterhood. We are all so diverse, not only in our ethnicities but in our strengths, personalities and achievements. We push each other to strive to be the best that we can be individually, academically and as a whole organization. The bond that we share together is unbreakable, regardless of college graduation, or any obstacles that may come our way. We still keep in touch with our alumni sisters and try to stay true to the foundation of what our sorority stands for.
