Delta Tau Delta Fraternity

The Mission and Values of the Fraternity are a public representation of our core values contained within our Ritual. Our mission is simple but straightforward, "Committed to Lives of Excellence." Our members should be committed to living lives that reflect themselves, the Fraternity and every part of their being to a level of excellence. We as a Fraternity are dedicated to helping men achieve this level of excellence in their own lives.

About Delt:
A values-based Fraternity, Delta Tau Delta was founded in 1858 in Bethany, currently, W.V. With more than 115 chapters across the United States and Canada and an average chapter size of 57 men, Delt is "Committed to Lives of Excellence." Truth, Courage, Faith, and Power are its foundation while it actively embraces integrity, accountability, community service and brotherhood in its values. With more than 150,000 initiates in its 150 years of existence, the Fraternity offers its members unique opportunities to lead the Iona community. Delt colonized at Iona College on Friday April 4, 2008 and is currently working to become an official Chapter with the International Office.

Philanthropy:
Adopt-A-School, the Fraternity's national service initiative, records nearly 100,000 hours of service by Delts each year.

Academics:
An academic leader in the fraternity world, Delt places the highest priority on academics before all else. To ensure that academics are top priority to us, we require a minimum of a 2.7 GPA to become a New Member of our Fraternity, while the campus requirement is a 2.3. They also have the highest fraternal GPA on campus with a 3.13.

Recruitment:
Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity is building a relationship with Iona College to offer Iona men a new choice in recruitment. Contact a Brother of the Fraternity for more information about becoming a Delt.
