Phi Gamma Chi Sorority

The Phi Gamma Chi chapter at Iona was founded in 1988. The sisters are committed to enhancing the spiritual and cultural awareness of the community.

Mission:
Phi Gamma Chi Sorority was founded in 1988 in order to dedicate themselves to enhancing religious and cultural awareness on and around the Iona College campus.
Values:
"Make us a Channel" acts as their motto as it relates to the fact that they are composed of such a diverse group of women. Each individual contributes her own unique talents, experiences, culture, and personality. Despite their individuality, the sisters are bound together as one by a bond of sisterhood. They believe that the word sisterhood means a friendship that will last a lifetime.
