Psi Kappa Theta Sorority

Psi Kappa Theta was formed on October 1, 1980. It was founded by a group of women that wanted to participate in campus events and form great friendships.

Sisterhood, Contribution, and Celebration

Psi Kappa Theta better known as IKO on campus is a very active group of girls who like to have fun! Besides participating in campus events such as Homecoming and Greek Week, we also have sponsored many events including a Free Car Wash, as well as volunteering at Soup Kitchens and we co-sponsor events with different organizations on campus such as the St. Baldrick's event, as well as raising money for IONA Mission trips. We also participate in walks such as the Huntington's Disease Walk and the Breast Cancer Walk. As of the 2008- 2009 Greek Awards, Psi Kappa Theta achieved the Most Improved Organization award, as well as honoring our president, Katie O'Neil, with the President of the Year Award.

We work to uphold the ideals on which we were founded: "Sisterhood, Celebration, and Contribution." Psi Kappa Theta is one of the oldest Sororities on Iona's campus. It is also one of the largest. The bonds formed within our organization are rare and everlasting. Without the privilege of being part of fraternity or sorority life, our college experience would not be the same.
