WICR (Iona College Radio) Mission Statement

WICR (Iona College Radio) is an organization that promotes and encourages the expression of individuality through a positive outlet while remaining consistent with the mission of Iona College. We commit ourselves to promoting tolerance and respect for ourselves and others. Membership will require an appreciation of diversity within the organization and the Iona College community as a whole.

Students provide music, news, sports, and local weather to the community as well as the world. Year after year WICR continues to pioneer the use of new technology to progress in the transition from analogue to digital utilizing the internet as our main source of broadcast.

WICR is not only Iona's very own radio station, but it also adds a new dimension of entertainment to any campus event with our DJ services. WICR is always looking for new talent and even has its very own DJ Training facility; equipped with multiple vinyl turntables, CD turntables, and digital music software. WICR welcomes new DJ's with or without experience who are looking to have fun and entertain at campus events. With so much going on with Iona College Radio, isn't it time you joined a club that allows you to express yourself and have fun simultaneously? WICR (Iona College Radio) Executive Board Members

President - Danny Krug (DJ Trüth)
	Danny Krug is a senior at Iona College and is originally from Queens, New York. He is a Physiology Major and a Biology Minor. Currently the President of WICR (Iona College Radio), Danny got his start in music producing Hip-Hop back in 2005 until he slowly moved away from the genre in 2006. In 2007 he started producing and DJing electro house music under the name DJ Trüth. Today, Danny continues to polish is DJ skills while also keeping the radio Station in good hands.
President - Rob Hines (DJ Bobby Fingaz)
	Rob Hines is currently a Junior in the Honors Program, reigning from Queens, NY. Rob is currently studying in the Hagan School of Business as an accounting major. Besides serving as the President of the Radio, Rob also works as an orientation leader for the Edmund Rice Society and works for Admissions as a campus tour guide. If you can't find Rob on campus, then he is probably working throughout NYC with Mixin It Up Entertainment, his self-established entertainment company. During his spare time Rob enjoys hanging out with his friends & family, as well as practicing his balloon twisting masterpieces.
Administrative Manager - Diana Merslich
	My name is Diana Merslich, I am a junior TV/Video Production Major and the Administrative Manager of WICR! I hail from Flushing, Queens and wouldn't have it any other way. I am also, an active member of ICTV and spend a majority of my time either in the radio station or television studio. I am a diehard New York Rangers and New York Yankees fan and would probably die without music in my life.
Events Coordinator - Dominic Arena
	Dominic Arena is a Sophomore at Iona. He enjoys Theater Singing but mostly Dance. He is a Mass Communications major possibly minoring in management. In his spare time you can find him around campus socializing or with the Iona College Pipe band. You can also see him dancing to Lady Gaga from time to time.
Treasurer - Anthony Castiglione
	Anthony Castiglione is currently a Junior at Iona College, reigning from Somers, NY. He is the Treasurer of WICR, as well as a member of the Marketing Club, SADD Club, and Edmund Rice Society. You may sometimes spot Anthony in LaPenta Student Union, serving as a Building Manager, helping you with all your needs. In his spare time, Anthony enjoys listening to music, hanging out with friends, and hooking his boys up with fresh cuts!
