Iona International

A club for international students

Purpose:
Iona International will provide a platform for international students to come together in order to understand and learn about the different cultures represented on campus. Students are able to discuss and receive advisement on a variety of issues affecting international students. Iona International serves a social and academic purpose. It is a means for International students to network with professionals invited to share with the club. This benefits international graduate and under grads who are preparing to enter the work place.

Main Goals:

  • To provide a platform for international students to come together.
  • To provide international students with the opportunity to network with professionals in various fields of interest to students.
  • To provide mentoring opportunities to and for international students.
  • To allow relevant Iona departments / officers an opportunity to address the international student body.
  • To serve as representatives or liaisons for Iona college to prospective students.
  • To act as a support system, advocates for and the voice of international students on campus.
