I C Green is a student organization that strives to educate and increase awareness about environmental issues in Iona's community and world-wide. We hope to make recycling on campus more efficient and user-friendly, and to encourage a reduction in energy consumption. Our outreach will be generated toward students but we will collaborate with faculty, facilities, and administration to carry out future major sustainability projects.
The color GREEN is having the Best Year Ever!
With a world becoming increasingly conscious of the growing eco-crisis, the students of Iona College have seen the need to step up and promote sustainability on our campus. Following the Environmental Consortium of Hudson Valley Colleges & Universities in the Fall of 2006, four students teamed up to found this student organization that would resurrect the mission of Project Earth and rename it I C Green.
GREEN is everything you love, everything you missed, and everything you need to see again!
