Tara Knights Society

The Tara Knights Society is the College's oldest service organization. Deeply rooted in the history of the College, the group was founded in 1940 on the ideals of the Congregation of Christian Brothers. The Knights work with other organizations on campus to sponsor different fund raisers and events throughout the year.

Hands around Iona
Hands around Iona is the Tara Knight's annual fund raiser held to aid the Christian Brothers and their work with communities in Africa. Over the past few years with the help of many students, faculty and administration, the Knights have impacted areas in El Doret, Sierra Leone and Kenya.

This Year's Mission: To support the Christian Brothers' mission in West Africa by helping to provide clean water to the people of Hamilton and decrease the number of water-borne diseases that affect many children and their families.

This Year's Goal: $20,000

In order to reach this goal, we need your help. Any donation makes a difference.
