Gael Dancers

 

The Gael Dancers:

were founded in 1998 and are an entertainment group that prepares dance routines for performances at social events. The Gael Dancers consists of 20 talented dancers with various dance backgrounds. The team performs at all men and women home basketball games as well as other events on campus including Mulcahy Madness, Homecoming and Pep Rally. Dance members do travel with the basketball teams to the MAAC Tournament at the end of the season in March. The team practices three times a week perfecting dance routines with their coach and captains. The dance routines can be described as jazz funk, a style of jazz technique and hip hop combined. The members also dedicate time participating in service projects supporting Breast Cancer Awareness and Prevention.

What to Bring: Appropriate foot wear, comfortable clothes, lots of water and ENERGY!
What to Know: All choreography will be taught the day of audition, all you need to do is show up, Everyone welcome!

Practices:

All practices are open and anyone who does not make the team can come to practice their skills with the team on Mondays from 6:00 - 7:00 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and Sundays from 5:00 - 8:00 pm.
